About Whole Self OT
Whole Self OT is owned and operated by Libby Roberts, a pediatric Occupational Therapist, passionate about helping children thrive: physically, socially and emotionally.
Libby completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy in 2004 at the University of South Australia. Libby has worked in public and private practice in South Australia and Melbourne, and loves nothing more than working with children and families holistically; identifying goals, problem solving, collaborating and building new skills. Libby aims to provide personalized care and support to improve families day-to-day lives.
Libby is a member of OT Australia, an AHPRA registered practitioner (Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency) and is also a BAMH Endorsed Occupational Therapist (Better Access to Mental Health Initiative).

Individual therapy sessions are designed to meet the unique needs of each child. Libby works with children with a range of needs, including sensory processing, ADHD, Autism and developmental delays. Sessions are funded under NDIS, Better Access to Mental Health Referrals and Early Intervention Referrals via GP's.

Group sessions provide children with the opportunity to practice social skills and build relationships with their peers. Libby offers a number of groups for children of different ages and abilities, focussed on building new skills and navigating social dynamics.

Working with families is an essential part of helping children succeed in their home and school lives. Family support sessions are designed to provide collaboration and guidance to parents and caregivers, and help them make small but effective changes in their parenting and home environment to bring out the best in themselves and their child.
